The Vision
CJP Broadcast Service Solutions partnered with StartUp Croydon to develop a state-of-the-art virtual studio and post-production facility. The Challenge

LED Wall
The studio features a 4.5m x 2.5m LED wall, built with Absen panels and driven by a Brompton processor. This setup provides high-resolution visual fidelity, ensuring seamless integration between physical and virtual elements in productions. The LED wall enables users to create dynamic backgrounds and immersive environments suitable for a variety of content styles.
Graphics Software
CJP integrated Mo-Sys VP Pro software, incorporating the Unreal Engine for photorealistic real-time graphics rendering. This advanced software allows users to generate virtual environments, apply set extensions, and enhance production quality without the need for costly physical sets.
Cameras
To ensure high-quality capture, the studio is equipped with Blackmagic Design Ursa cameras. These cameras offer broadcast-quality imaging, making them ideal for live productions, promotional videos, and content creation for digital platforms.
Camera Tracking
The Mo-Sys StarTracker Max was integrated to enable precise virtual background tracking, ensuring real-time alignment between camera movements and the virtual environment. This system enhances realism and interactivity, making it easier for creators to blend physical and digital elements seamlessly.
Additional Equipment
CJP supplied a comprehensive lighting rig, Behringer audio equipment, and Blackmagic video servers for recording and content management. The post-production suites are equipped with Apple Mac Studio and Mac Mini processors, running software from Apple and Adobe for editing, colour grading, and sound production. This complete setup ensures a professional, end-to-end workflow from production to post-production.
