CJP’s Commitment to Social Responsibility Recognised at the RTS Technology Centre Awards

The Royal Television Society (RTS) is a prestigious educational charity dedicated to promoting the art and science of television and celebrates achievements across the broadcasting industry. The RTS Technology Centre Summer Awards honour contributions in technology and production, recognising both individual innovators and forward-thinking companies.

CJP was delighted to be shortlisted in two categories and later announced as the winner of the company social responsibility 2024 award. This award underscores our efforts to positively impact our community and reflects our dedication to making a difference.

Over the past year, we’ve supported several key initiatives that we are particularly proud of. We provided free live streaming for St Michael’s Hospice’s annual Light up a Life event at Hereford Cathedral, allowing individuals to virtually attend and remember their loved ones. We also covered the European Blind Football League tournament for the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC), highlighting the incredible talent and inclusivity of the sport. Additionally, we mentored visually-impaired RNC student Mo, providing hands-on experience in marketing and video production. Kieran Phillips, Director of Sales and Marketing at CJP has volunteered his time and skills to support the West Midlands Community First Responder Initiative, while CJP also contributed financially to ensure the initiative had the resources it needed to operate effectively. This blend of personal involvement and financial support underscores our commitment to community well-being.

We are deeply grateful to the RTS Technology Centre and the esteemed judges for awarding us the Company Social Responsibility Award 2024. Our team’s hard work and passion have been instrumental in achieving this award, and we are immensely proud of their efforts.

We also want to highlight and celebrate Kieran Phillips, who was a finalist in the Young Person of the Year category, which had the most closely scored results of the night. Kieran only just missed out on the win, but his dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have made a significant impact on both the CJP team and wider community.
